Want updates, sneak peeks, and unapologetically queer dystopia in your inbox?

The Warehouse District

Spicy. Sapphic. Revolutionary.

Set in a fractured 2051 where same-sex marriage has been repealed nationwide, The Warehouse District Trilogy follows a rising queer rebellion in Minnesota. It is the last state still protecting LGBTQ+ rights, but even that final stronghold is slipping fast.

As civil liberties vanish and state control tightens, a group of rebels emerges. They are scrappy, furious, and unflinchingly loyal. At the heart of the resistance are sapphic relationships as complex and combustible as the world around them. From slow-burn romance to tangled heartbreak and enemies-to-lovers dynamics, these connections blur the line between passion and peril.

Through viral uprisings, skyway takeovers, and underground networks, what begins as a spark turns into a city-wide reckoning. As the Scarlet Resistance rises, so does the danger.

The Warehouse District Trilogy is bold, high-heat dystopian fiction where queer women fall hard, fight harder, and refuse to disappear quietly.

The Stories

The Finest Line

Book One

Out Now

Oakland Pratt has spent her life being the perfect daughter, the quiet believer, the obedient Mormon woman who follows every rule. But when she meets Christine, a flustered brewer with restless hands and bedroom eyes, everything shifts.

Their connection is immediate, magnetic, and impossible to ignore. What starts as a flicker becomes a flame that pulls Oakland from her faith, her family, and the safety of silence. As protests spark and the state begins to crack down, Oakland is forced to choose: hide who she is or burn everything down to become who she is meant to be.

With spice, slow-burn romance, and rebellion bubbling just beneath the surface, The Finest Line marks the first spark of a revolution and the moment desire becomes defiance.

The Second Stone

Book Two

Out Now

Oakland Pratt didn’t ask to become a symbol, but a slap seen around the world made her one. As the state turns brutal and hate crimes surge, the rebels at the heart of the uprising begin to mobilize. Messy. Angry. Unapologetically queer.

Hiding in the abandoned Minneapolis skyway system, they launch a bold propaganda war. The Scarlet Resistance rises from underground, turning survival into strategy. But as the governor loses his grip, new power players step in, including Selene Carlisle, former regime queen, walking contradiction, and Eden’s most dangerous temptation.

The Second Stone turns revolution into reality, diving deeper into queer resistance, memory, and the brutal cost of visibility.

The Scarlet Eye

Book Three

Out Now

The final chapter of The Warehouse District Trilogy is explosive, defiant, and blisteringly queer. The Scarlet Resistance has outgrown the shadows, carving out an autonomous zone in the heart of Minneapolis. But with power comes risk, and the regime is getting desperate.

The Scarlet Eye, once a spray-painted symbol, is now a movement. A reckoning. As Oakland shoulders the weight of being the revolution’s face, and Eden navigates her most dangerous role yet, new fractures threaten to tear everything apart.

And at the center of it all is Selene Carlisle: cold, calculating, and irresistible. She and Eden are locked in a dangerous game of enemies-to-lovers tension, with the fate of the resistance hanging between them.

The First Fever Dream

Standalone Duet

February 2026

It’s 2082. Thirty-six-year-old Vega has spent half her life haunted by the assassination of her mother, a beloved progressive political leader taken down in what was framed as an act of domestic terrorism. The woman convicted for the crime was executed. The case was closed. But Vega never believed it.

Now, more than a decade later, Vega learns of a highly classified technology that allowed the killer’s mind to be uploaded before her execution, and may now make it possible for the living to enter those digital remains. Driven by grief and questions that never faded, Vega volunteers to live upload, determined to step inside the mind of the woman who destroyed her world and unearth the truth buried with her.

But inside the cloud, memory doesn’t play by the rules. Truth twists. Time loops. And what begins as a mission for justice becomes something far more dangerous.

Enemies to lovers. Love in the afterglow.

And a truth too dangerous to stay dead.

October 2025

BookBrushImage-2025-10-1-0-5656.png

To Hex and To Hold is a sapphic horror novella where exes, enemies, and restless spirits all crash the same lake house.

Lark Paquette thought she had left Sig Halvorson in the past, right along with the fiancée Sig stole. But when Lark inherits half of her ex’s lake house… guess who owns the other half?

Now they are stuck under the same roof, snow piling high outside, and the storm does not take sides. The fighting is bad enough, but then come the noises in the walls, shadows on the frozen lake, and one very unfriendly snow demon who clearly enjoys the drama.

The more Lark and Sig bicker, the more the house seems to stir the pot. Hatred brought them back to each other, but rekindled sparks may be the one thing they cannot fight.

About Tegan Kane

Tegan Kane is an award-winning author who writes sharp, sapphic stories filled with political intrigue, rebellion, and women who refuse to play by the rules. Whether that means dismantling corruption, shattering expectations, or unapologetically claiming what’s theirs, her characters don’t hold back.

Tegan started writing The Warehouse District Series in 2015 while living in the actual Warehouse District. At the time, she had no idea how much the real world would start to resemble the one she was building. Over the last few years, she realized this story wasn’t just something she wanted to continue. It was something she needed to. The spice, the rebellion, the fire. It all deserves to be unleashed.
