A Message for Readers
I write stories that dig deep—into identity, grief, resistance, rage, and love. I include content warnings not to spoil the plot, but to give you the power to choose what you engage with and when. Take care of yourself first. The story will wait.
My stories contain themes that may be triggering or upsetting for some readers. Across The Warehouse District Series and Scarlet Vault, you may encounter depictions of: homophobia (including slurs), misogyny, religious trauma, government surveillance, systemic oppression, physical violence, police brutality, blood and injury, emotional abuse, loss of memory, grief, death of loved ones (human and animal), panic attacks, drug and alcohol use, cult-like religious structures, forced institutionalization, and the manipulation or abuse of power in intimate and political relationships. This includes coercive control, particularly in the context of gender, sexuality, and personal autonomy.
On the lighter end of the spectrum: expect emotionally intense queer romance, explicit queer sex scenes with varying degrees of spiciness, chaotic sibling dynamics, and at least one aggressively feral dog. If any of these themes are especially sensitive for you, I encourage you to take care and read at your own pace—or skip entirely. Your well-being is what matters most.
